US research and training company Burke, Inc. has promoted Jamie Baker-Prewitt for a newly created role, Chief Research Officer.
Employee-owned Burke uses research methodologies, analytical techniques and technology to support clients across all major industry sectors; and provides MR and consumer insights education through The Burke Institute. Baker-Prewitt (pictured) joined more than 28 years ago as a Senior Analyst, and most recently served as SVP, Director of Decision Sciences, leading the firm's analytical function and directing research and development initiatives.
In her new role, Baker-Prewitt will lead the development of a new range of solutions, including a system which uses machine learning to accelerate insight generation from a variety of sources, and research tech-based solutions to speed up insight delivery. Commenting on the promotion, President & CEO Diane Surette said: 'Over the years, Jamie has been instrumental in supporting the firm's legacy of quality and expanding Burke's offerings, and this role will allow her to pursue those passions in an accelerated manner'.
