Cross-screen television insights and analytics provider Samba TV, headquartered in the US, has hired Yasmin Sanders for a newly created role, Managing Director in Australia, based in Sydney.
The company uses data from social media, connected devices and tens of millions of opt-in smart TV households worldwide, to help clients measure television viewing and understand its impact on consumer and purchasing behavior. Cross-platform analytics are drawn from its technology embedded in millions of smart TVs, and it uses panel 'representative of the US population' to measure TV and digital ad exposure for each household.
Sanders (pictured) joins with nearly twenty years' experience in the ad tech and media industry. Most recently, she ran her own consultancy business, Zipp Media Solutions, to help media and ad tech clients diversify and grow their revenue. Before this she was Senior Director Programmatic TV, Australia New Zealand at Verizon Media; and she held senior roles at ViacomCBS-owned Network 10; and Foxtel Media.
In her new position, Sanders is tasked with building and scaling Samba's Australian business, while overseeing strategy and execution in the region.
