Data-driven marketing agency Merkle has promoted Anne Stagg to the newly created role of UK Chief Executive Officer, and CEO of its Customer Experience Management Line of Business (CXM).
Owned by dentsu, Merkle uses its skills in technology and analytics to understand consumers and drive people-based marketing strategies. Stagg (pictured) joined last year as VP, Client Services for the EMEA region, leading the creation of a Client Services team across the company's Media, Analytics, Customer Experience and Technology service lines. She previously served as MD of marketing services firm Indicia, and Head of Client Management at information solutions giant Experian.
In her new role, Stagg will lead a business of 940 people, while overseeing delivery across dentsu's CXM Line of Business. She will also be tasked with ensuring that the group's data and digital transformation capabilities are combined, to position it as a customer experience management partner for existing and new clients across its ten locations in the UK and Ireland.
Stagg will report both to Margaret Wagner, the incoming President of Merkle and CEO of dentsu's CXM Line of Business in EMEA, and dentsu UK&I CEO Euan Jarvie. Wagner comments: 'Anne has shown consistently strong leadership throughout her time at Merkle, overseeing our client services and sustaining our business performance and growth across the UK in these challenging times. I have no doubt that she will continue to lead the company to new heights with the same drive and achieve immense success'.
