UK-based marketing and customer analytics consultancy STRAT7 has acquired cultural insights and strategy consultancy Crowd DNA for an undisclosed sum.
Crowd DNA conducts research to understand people, culture and trends across the world. The team includes researchers, strategists, designers, writers and film-makers, supported by a global network of industry experts, academics, creators, influencers, trend scouts and journalists, who work with companies to strengthen their brands through 'greater cultural relevance'. Headquartered in London, the firm also has offices in Amsterdam, New York, Sydney and Singapore.
The STRAT7 group, which was founded last year by insight and analytics agencies ResearchBods and Bonamy Finch, together with start-up LiFE. Crowd DNA, which will now join the STRAT7 group, has worked with the companies on multiple global projects over a number of years.
Crowd DNA founder and CEO Andy Crysell says the synergies across the STRAT7 group create a 'fantastic platform' for his company. Barrie Brien, CEO of STRAT7, adds: 'We're already working together on some exciting and unique new products that we believe will give us and our clients a real competitive edge. Last, but not least, our extended international footprint means we're able to service our global clients much more effectively wherever they are based'.
