Global consulting group Accenture has agreed to acquire boutique analytics and data science consultancy End-to-End Analytics, which is based in Palo Alto, CA, with additional offices in Brazil. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 2005, End-to-End Analytics uses its industry expertise and consulting model approach - combining analytics, 'business acumen', and technology - to convert insights into actions. The firm's team of more than 70 execs specializes in the development of data and analytics strategy, and the application of optimization, machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) across a broad range of technology platforms.
As part of the deal, End-to-End Analytics will add its experience in the high tech, retail, industrial, automotive and consumer goods industries, and its portfolio across supply chain, forecasting, trade promotion, pricing, marketing, and customer analytics, to Accenture's Applied Intelligence practice. The acquisitions will build on Accenture's existing analytics, data, and AI business, with recent acquisitions of Analytics8 in Australia, Pragsis Bidoop in Spain, Clarity Insights in North America, Mudano in the UK, Byte Prophecy in India, and Sentelis in France. In addition, Accenture recently made a strategic investment in data privacy solution provider TripleBlind.
Colin Kessinger (pictured), Managing Partner, End-to-End Analytics, said that joining Accenture will enable his firm to scale the impact of its work with an even broader client base, and give its employees new opportunities to grow their careers. Sanjeev Vohra, Global Lead for Accenture Applied Intelligence, adds: 'By adding End-to-End Analytics to Accenture Applied Intelligence, we look forward to scaling their unique approach to data science blended with our functional consulting practice to help our clients navigate the pace of change and gain more business value from their data and AI investments.'
