Marketing company Power Digital has acquired US and Israel-based data-driven digital media buying and creative agency Social Method. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Launched in 2015 by Rob Jewell (pictured), Social Method focuses on analyzing ad data and producing and testing creative content, designed to drive a high return on ad spend on Facebook and Instagram for clients across the eCommerce, CPG and healthcare verticals. The firm has a team of more than sixty, across locations in Washington DC, New York City and Tel Aviv.
Following the buy, Social Method's staff will join Power Digital's team of consumer strategists, creative and data scientists, providing marketing solutions for each stage of the consumer journey.
Grayson Lafrenz, founder and CEO of Power Digital, comments: 'As soon as I met Rob and saw the caliber of work from his team and the irrefutable results created for his clients, I knew Social Method was unlike any other performance-based media company we have previously encountered. This partnership will enable Social Method clients to have access to a full suite of paid and organic marketing services powered by Power Digital's proprietary machine learning platform SPRnova, and likewise, Power Digital clients will now have expanded paid and social creative capabilities through Social Method's offerings'.
