After four years at Tesco-owned customer data firm dunnhumby, CEO Guillaume Bacuvier has left the business, and has been replaced by Tesco Group Innovation Director Claire Lorains as interim CEO. Bacuvier has now joined consumer research platform Attest as an independent Director. Bacuvier (pictured) was appointed dunnhumby CEO in 2017, after serving as VP of Advertising Solutions at Google, before which he was Manager of Product Marketing at telecoms firm Orange, and a Senior Associate at management consultancy Booz & Company. Lorains takes over as dunnhumby's interim leader while a hunt for a successor takes place.
At Attest, Bacuvier joins existing board members including Crystal Huang of $20bn Silicon Valley investor NEA. Jeremy King, CEO and founder of Attest, comments: 'Our Board is set up to maintain a healthy balance of perspectives, inputs, ideas and experiences. Guillaume is the ideal fit for this role at Attest thanks to his experience of building, scaling and evolving businesses with data and consumers at the core, combined with a highly curious, rigorous and thoughtful style. We're thrilled to welcome Guillaume to Attest'.
