Research and data analytics group YouGov has appointed Emma-Louise McInnes as Global Sector Head of Banking & Insurance.
YouGov recently acquired open banking start-up Lean App, adding financial transaction data to its panel, profiling and other products and services. This includes data confirming the value, timing, and frequency of purchases made both online and offline, across nearly 40 industries, to YouGov's existing products and services.
McInnes (pictured) joins with more than twenty years' financial experience. Most recently, she ran her own business, Flame Consulting, before which, she worked for full-service agency Boxclever as Senior Client Consultant. Earlier, she spent nearly seven years at Nielsen, where she latterly served as Global Client Business Partner for a financial services client, and she worked for Synovate in the UAE as Head of Financial Services Research and Regional Research Director (CEE/MENA), having begun her career with five years at Sample Surveys Research Group.
In her new role, McInnes is tasked with further enhancing YouGov's banking and insurance analytics offering. Frank Saez, Global Head of Sector Experts, comments: 'Banking and insurance has always been a key sector for us and with Emma now on board, our footprint in the industry will only increase as more people make full use of our insights.'
