In the US, first-party data company Dynata has acquired consumer engagement and survey platform inBrain.ai, for an undisclosed sum.
Atlanta, Georgia-based inBrain.ai offers Zap Surveys, a mobile-first panel platform providing targeted rewards to encourage survey-taking. Its platform also integrates with mobile app publishers to increase response to consumer research.
Dynata says the addition of inBrain.ai's platform will add to its own mix of data, technology and tools, while strengthening its first-party data - especially among hard-to-reach audiences. It will also help Dynata maintain an optimal panelist experience. Jason Schubert, CEO of inBrain.ai, says combining Dynata's surveys with his firm's respondent-centric technology will allow the firms to expand the reach of surveys to more consumers.
Gary Laben, CEO of Dynata, adds: 'This acquisition assures our clients we can continue to deliver the audiences they need while also reinforcing that promise of a fair-value exchange for our members. It also maintains our focus on leveraging the best and most innovative technologies to strengthen our services and solutions across the marketing continuum, from uncovering insights to connecting data to measuring and optimizing advertising effectiveness'.
