In the US, online consumer research and rewards platform Prodege has acquired New York-based mobile survey platform Pollfish for an undisclosed sum.
Founded in 2013 by John Papadakis (pictured), Pollfish enables businesses to connect with millions of customers globally and create, target and analyze data in an all-in-one DIY platform. This platform uses 'organic sampling', a methodology for surveying real consumers at random within the devices they are organically engaged in.
Prodege, which last November, secured an undisclosed 'major' investment for targeted acquisitions, says the latest deal furthers its own mission to ensure clients have access to 'cost-effective and intuitive research solutions'. CEO and Chairman Chuck Davis adds: 'We are very impressed by Pollfish's modern approach to surveying consumers and strong commitment to data quality and are thrilled to welcome them into the Prodege family'.
