Ad targeting and retargeting specialist Criteo has appointed former Xaxis Global CEO Brian Gleason as Chief Revenue Officer, leading a global team of more than 1,500 associates. He takes up the post on April 1st.
Criteo combines predictive software and consumer intent / purchasing data to deliver targeted ads in real time, and has bolstered its offer with the acquisitions of performance marketing company BrandLogic, online ad targeting specialist DataPop, and programmatic ad tech firm IPONWEB. Gleason (pictured) joins after more than five years at WPP's media investment arm GroupM, latterly as Global Chief Commercial Officer. Prior to this he worked for WPP audience profiling and targeting division Xaxis, having earlier been Group CRO for IDG TechNetwork and Consumer group.
