Ipsos India has reorganized its leadership lineup, with the promotion of seven members of its team.
As part of the re-shuffle, Krishnendu Dutta has been named Group Service Line Leader, Innovation, Market Strategy and Understanding (MSU) and Strategy3, supporting the firm's pan-India, client facing teams. Rinku Patnaik takes on the new role of Managing Director, Research in India, after more than eleven years with the business, before which, she was a director at Nielsen and an AD at Synovate.
Geeta Lobo has been named Chief Client Officer (CCO), after serving as Head of the firm's Bengaluru business, and earlier spending thirteen years at GfK; Ashwini Sirsikar has been promoted to Group Service Line (GSL) Leader, Ipsos UU (qualitative research) and SIA (Social Intelligence Analytics), after eleven years with the company; Geetika Singh, Executive Director, UU (Mumbai) is now Country Service Line Leader, UU; and Maitreyi Mangrati, Executive Director, UU, will now take on the additional responsibilities of the Country Service Line Leader, SIA.
Amit Adarkar, CEO, Ipsos India, says Sirsikar, Singh and Mangrati will be tasked with connecting survey and social media data to provide a 360-degree view of clients. Additionally, Abhishek Jha will lead the Channel Performance service line (not limited to mystery shopping, but also covering retail execution, management, and audits), reporting to Patnaik.
Adarkar adds: 'The pandemic is almost behind us, and our clients are looking at us to partner them in their growth journey. At the same time, Ben Page, Ipsos Global CEO, has included India in Ipsos' top priority markets for 2022. Keeping in mind client as well as internal expectations, we have reinforced and revamped the leadership team with the announcement of top management changes, effective immediately.'
