UK-based mobile phone data pioneer RealityMine has announced the addition of a feature called RealLife Checkout to its product offering, enabling passive receipt scanning for digital transactions. Clients can now track, directly, what products are bought and how much is paid for them.
RealityMine helps major MR and media organisations monitor real consumers on multiple devices, across all major platforms. Its RealityMeter suite is deployed across Android, iOS and desktop platforms, by panel owners and research clients across five continents.
The new solution can be deployed to any website or app where a transaction is performed, and allows opted-in users to share data directly from the checkout page with no input required. RealityMine says this gives clients high frequency, low latency product purchase and spend data.
Initially, the tool will focus on hard to source data from the quick service restaurant (QSR) category, with further expansion planned across food service and rapid grocery delivery apps.
Billy Grant, Head of Product at RealityMine says that in combination with other attributes of the firm's RealLife data products, the launch will give clients 'an unparalleled view of online shopping behaviour'.
RealityMine is headquartered in Manchester, England with offices in London and Stockholm, and is online at www.realitymine.com .
