Ipsos has opened an offshore Data Services Centre in Mumbai, to handle offshore production work initially for North America, and later for other global markets. Haribabu Rajendran takes the reins as Managing Director.
For the new centre, Ipsos is recruiting for more than 300 positions in offshore production, primarily in the areas of survey programming, project management, data processing and data analytical roles. The centre will led by Rajendran (pictured), who has been with Ipsos for more than three years, and most recently served as South East Operations Director. Earlier, he spent six years at Nielsen, latterly as South East Asia Operations Leader, Consumer Insights & Innovation; before which he held roles at Kantar TNS, Synovate and ORG-MARG.
Amit Adarkar, CEO Ipsos India, comments: 'India is a key priority market for Ipsos and the setting up of the offshore hub reinforces Ipsos' commitment to India not only as a key player in full-service market research entity, but also as a key market for offshore production work for the long haul'.
