In the US, first-party data platform Dynata has acquired online panel and audience technology company Branded Research for an undisclosed sum.
Founded in 2021 by Matt Gaffney and John Ackerman, San Diego, CA-based Branded Research taps its Branded Surveys proprietary research community, comprising two million users, for consumer and B2B data. The firm's audience on-demand platform generates nearly fifteen million completed surveys annually.
Dynata says the acquisition adds Branded's proprietary panel reach to its own Insights Platform, which helps nurture long-term relationships with panel community members. This Platform allows the company to connect data, build measurement and advertising solutions at scale, and model and scale custom audiences for campaign activation.
