Kantar has hired long-time Merkle exec Will Bordelon as Chief Executive Officer of its Insights business in the Americas. He will join on July 11th.
Bordelon (pictured), who has been on sabbatical for the past eighteen months, previously spent more than twelve years at Dentsu-owned customer experience management firm Merkle, latterly on strategic engagements, and earlier as Chief Client Officer and a member of the executive committee. Before this he worked for data and marketing services company Acxiom, including serving as APAC Chief Growth Officer, based in Australia, China, and then Singapore, leading teams and growth across the region.
In his new role, Bordelon will report to CEO Chris Jansen, who comments: 'Our next phase of growth will be heavily influenced by advanced data analytics. Will's track record of building and transforming businesses in this space and supporting teams to create a high performing and client-centric culture will be a wonderful asset as we partner with clients across the region in growing their marketing technology capabilities'.
