Research software firm Forsta and local marketing platform Rio SEO, which are both owned by Press Ganey, are combining. Both will continue to serve current clients under their existing brands, while Forsta has welcomed all Rio SEO employees to its sales, ops, product and engineering teams.
Rio SEO's Open Local Platform provides multi-location organizations with an integrated suite of local marketing solutions, to increase brand visibility across search engines, social media networks, map applications, and other media. Enterprise brands use the firm's data from review sites to drive measurable online traffic to web sites and physical locations.
Forsta was formed last year through the merger of research software firms Confirmit and FocusVision. The deal will enable companies to ingest data from Rio SEO's Local Reviews into their existing Voice of Customer (VoC) programs on Forsta's HX platform. In addition, enterprise brands will be able to embed Forsta's Digital Feedback solution into their local landing pages and locators, and use Forsta's SDK to build feedback natively into their branded mobile apps - allowing for behavioral data capture and digital intercept prompts and surveys. Local landing page performance, impressions, clicks, local search ranking data and more will also now be available in the Forsta HX platform.
Kyle Ferguson, CEO of Forsta, says Rio SEO's local marketing solutions provide the opportunity to create hyper-relevant content, utilize geotargeting and more. Mick Wilson, VP, Customer Success at Rio SEO, adds: 'Forsta's market research and customer experience solutions take you from data, to insight, to action by helping you understand your customer, see who they really are, and better respond to their needs. I could not think of a better combination for our customers: Rio's local marketing solutions, amplified by Forsta's award-winning CX and insights technology platform'.
