Customer experience (CX) platform Emplifi has acquired ratings and reviews site Pixlee TurnTo, which also provides user-generated content (UGC), and influencer marketing solutions. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
US-based Pixlee TurnTo's customer-powered solutions have been developed to give brands the tools they need to market to, sell to, and care for consumers at scale. Brands use these solutions to identify the right UGC, uncover highlights from positive reviews, and identify influencers, in order to deliver 'deeper engagement, higher conversion rates, and increased loyalty'.
As part of the deal, Emplifi, which was formed from the merger of VoC platform Astute and social media specialist Socialbakers, will incorporate Pixlee TurnTo's capabilities across its social media marketing, live commerce and customer care workflows, as part of its unified CX Cloud platform. This latest acquisition comes less than a year after Emplifi acquired live commerce software provider Go Instore, and Emplifi says that now, with the combined abilities of its CX platform and Pixlee TurnTo, brands will have one platform through which to deliver the right message to the right audience on the right channels.
