Sorrell's S4S Ventures Backs DAM Platform Tenovos

November 22 2022

In New York, digital asset management (DAM) platform Tenovos has secured a $10m Series B round of funding, co-led by Stanhope Capital Group, Bertelsmann investment fund BDMI and S4S Ventures, which is backed by shareowners of Sir Martin Sorrell's S4Capital.

D. Scott Bowen and Sal HakimiTenovos' platform uses productivity and performance data to help clients streamline and automate the creation and activation of global content at scale. Once activated, content performance can be measured across channels and campaigns, allowing brand teams to quantify the success of their investments and their impact on business growth.

In addition to the three main funders, existing investors Progress Ventures, Revel Partners and Dublin Capital also participated in the funding round. The new round follows Tenovos' $4m Series A round in 2020, and will be used to accelerate product development and expand global go-to-market channels for the business, which has recently expanded to Canada, the UK and the Middle East.

Sorrell, founder and Chairman of S4Capital and co-founder of S4S Ventures, comments: 'At S4S Ventures, we believe that intelligence derived from the intersection of content and data is foundational to modern marketing success. While many companies are still using DAM platforms that have neither the data nor insights they need, Tenovos empowers marketers with both to ensure their creative assets can impact engagement, loyalty and revenue'.

The firm, which was founded in 2018 by D. Scott Bowen and Sal Hakimi, is online at www.tenovos.com .
