Gartner Revenue Up 16% in 2022

US-based tech research and consulting firm Gartner has reported Q4 2022 revenue of $1.5 bn - up 15% reported, or 20% on a constant currency basis. The largest division, Research, saw revenues up 9% on a reported basis to $1.18 bn, up 13% at constant currency.

Gene HallDuring the quarter, the Conference segment saw revenues grow 76% on a reported basis (84% FX neutral) to $188m; leapfrogging the Consulting segment which grew 17% to $138m (up 24% FX neutral). The group's adjusted EBITDA was up 37% to $421m, while net income was $257m.

For the full year 2022, on a reported basis, revenue was up 16% to $5.48bn (+20% FX neutral); net income was $808m; and adjusted EBITDA of $1.5 bn was up 14% as reported (+19% FX neutral).

CEO Gene Hall (pictured) comments: 'Gartner delivered another strong year with double digit growth in contract value, revenue, Adjusted EBITDA, and Adjusted EPS. Entering 2023, our associate team is the strongest we have ever had, positioning us for long-term, sustained, double-digit growth'.

The figures will leave the company about 1% shy of overtaking IQVIA as the insight & analytics sector's biggest player (www.mrweb.com/raidar ) although the healthcare intelligence giant has yet to reveal 2022 results.
