STRAT7 Launches 'Path' Customer Centricity Measure

June 15 2023

Insight and analytics group STRAT7 has launched a 'customer centricity assessment' tool called Path, assessing clients' ability to anticipate the changing needs of their customer base, rather than simply reacting to change.

Björn DufwenbergSTRAT7 was founded in 2019 by insight and analytics agencies ResearchBods and Bonamy Finch, together with start-up LiFE. Its new tool Path builds on the group's experience in advising clients on how to become more customer-centric - from operating model to growth strategy through to customer analysis and understanding. The solution charts out the journey needed for clients to develop a more 'customer-centric future', drawing on the capabilities offered by each agency within the group.

Path assesses how mature businesses are in terms of customer centricity, factoring in more than 50 dimensions across customer visibility - who they are, and where they are; customer outreach - marketing, sales activity, and product innovation; customer service and retention - CX and loyalty programmes; and operating model and execution - including culture and aligning vision to external and internal customer needs. Depending on the maturity score across each area, STRAT7 develops transformation plans outlining priority areas to address and in what order.

Björn Dufwenberg (pictured), MD of STRAT7's Advisory consulting practice, explains: 'Customer centricity isn't just the responsibility of the insights or the marketing team, so we look at a business holistically. Path can reveal what companies actually need isn't always what they think they need. As such, it's a powerful tool for reframing thinking and opening up new conversations around where the opportunities lie'.
