UK insight agency Walnut Unlimited has appointed Yasmin Ramikie and Elaine Thompson as Research Directors, and Bethan Crisp as Associate Director in the Qualitative team.
The company was formed in 2017 when marcoms network the Unlimited Group combined four of its existing insight businesses to form what it describes as a 'human understanding' agency with strengths in neuroscience, behavioural science, qualitative research and data analytics. Late last year the firm launched a division called Walnut Social Research, bringing together public sector and social researchers previously operating under the ICM Unlimited brand name, which has now been retired.
Ramikie joins after more than twelve years at PRS IN VIVO, where she latterly served as Director, Behavioural Qualitative, specialising in packaging, shopper and point-of-sale-research. Earlier she was Field Manager at EdComs, having previously worked at NOP World, Insight Research Group and SW1 Research. Thompson previously served as Client Director at InSites Consulting (now Human8), before which she spent sixteen years at consumer panel division Kantar Worldpanel, most recently as Strategic Insight Director. Crisp joins from CM Research, where she was a Research Manager, before which she held the same title at Starlight Children's Foundation, and Healthcare Research Worldwide.
Commenting on the appointments, MD Chris Bland said: 'We are very excited to have welcomed our new starters, who have joined and complement our growing team of insight specialists. Their extensive track records, depth of expertise, and collective wisdom further solidify our offering as experts in human understanding as we tackle increasingly complex challenges'.
