Consumer intelligence giant NielsenIQ (NIQ) has expanded its Brandbank solution into the UAE and the Philippines, strengthening its global retailer distribution network via collaborations with major omnichannel retailers including Spinneys and NCCC.
Acquired by Advent International two years ago and since earlier this year known as NIQ, the company provides an understanding of consumer buying behavior through an advanced business intelligence platform with integrated predictive analytics.
Brandbank delivers product content optimized for shopper marketing and category planning across all channels - aiming to make consumer goods more 'discoverable' and engaging. The partnership with Spinneys and NCCC will help to standardise the process of acquiring product content, improving its quality and driving increased sales.
Brandbank's Global MD Mike Nickituk (pictured) says of the expansion: 'We are delighted to be launching in UAE and the Philippines, providing shoppers with consistent, high quality, structured and accurate product data and images, to enable product discovery and support shoppers determine products that meet their specific needs'.
