Similarweb Launches 'SimilarAsk' AI Assistant

Israel-based digital market intelligence company Similarweb has announced the beta launch of its 'SimilarAsk' AI assistant, through which clients can uncover insights from the firm's digital data using natural language queries.

Similarweb offers proprietary software for understanding online behavior, analysing traffic and engagement statistics including the behavior of visitors to similar kinds of sites. Its technology aggregates hundreds of sources and applies advanced machine learning to analyse them.

The new SimilarAsk assistant has been created by integrating the company's digital data and its solutions with large language AI models, and is designed to provide Similarweb users with 'enhanced discoverability' of relevant insights. Users who have mastered the firm's digital data user interface can navigate through multiple menus and screens to find the answers they are seeking, but SimilarAsk allows users to shortcut that process.
