Tech analyst Gartner has reported second quarter revenue growth of 10.0%, once adjusted for currency effects. Total revenue hit $1.503 billion, with profits stable (adjusted EBITDA of $384m, down 0.3%).
Revenue for the Research division rose 6.5% (FX neutral) to $1,208m, and for the Consulting division 5.9% to $126m, while the rebounding Conferences wing climbed back past Consulting to $169m (growth of 48.4%)
MrWeb's RAIDAR ranking (www.mrweb.com/raidar ) shows that the firm had 2022 revenue of just under $5bn, and with current growth is on course to compete for the title of world's largest insight / analytics firm.
CEO Gene Hall (pictured) comments: 'Gartner delivered another strong quarter with high single-digit growth in contract value and revenue. We are increasing our adjusted EBITDA, Free Cash Flow and adjusted EPS guidance for 2023 and remain well prepared for a wide range of economic scenarios'.
