In New York, holding company North Sixth Group has acquired digital marketing firm KRMA. The latter's marketing tech, analytics and data capabilities will be combined with PR agency N6A, and its content firm Studios into a new entity called N6 Powered by KRMA.
With locations in Los Angeles, Nashville and New York, KRMA was launched last August by Morgan Harris (pictured), and offers creative expertise and technology, underpinned by data science. Its team focus on software and app development, AI and Web3 technologies, as well as full-scale content production and media execution. A unit called KRMA Labs works with a group of entrepreneurs who are focused on cause-based tech initiatives.
The new brand, N6 Powered by KRMA, will combine PR, technology and digital marketing strategies, building on N6A's expertise in earned media, communications and reputation management; and KRMA's expertise. Harris takes the newly created role of CEO of parent North Sixth Group, having earlier served as CEO of marketing data solutions firm Tonik+. North Sixth Group founder Matt Rizzetta will continue to serve as Chairman of the group, which in addition to the marketing companies has investments in Italian football clubs Ascoli Calcio 1898 FC and Campobasso FC; Brooklyn Football Club; news distribution platform News Direct; and audience data and intelligence platform Everything Clips.
Harris comments: 'N6 Powered by KRMA brings together the best minds, clients and capabilities to redefine marketing and public relations, as we move into an increasingly data-centric marketplace. Furthermore, I am thrilled to be leading North Sixth Group as we continue to build our portfolio and enhance our leadership footprint within the media, marketing and sports and entertainment landscape'.
