Personalized video content creation platform VidMob has appointed former Google exec Robert Wollner as its first VP of Agency Partnerships, responsible for nurturing and advancing its collaborations with global agencies.
VidMob's 'Intelligent Creative' platform brings data and analytics together with creative production, to help brands produce, track, measure and optimize the performance of their creative ad assets across the major digital ad platforms. Solutions based around proprietary machine learning allow users to measure the quality of creative and understand which attributes are driving performance. In August 2022 the firm raised $110m in a Series D round of funding.
Wollner joins after almost six years at Google, leading the tech giant's Cloud and Business Data & Tech relationships with companies like WPP, IPG and Havas. Earlier he worked for a year at Sysomos, following its takeover of social relationship and content marketing platform Expion, where he was MD for Europe. In all he brings to the new role twenty years' experience in technology, data and marketing.
He will be based in the UK but with a global remit and will report to Chief Revenue Officer Jean Phillipe Maheu.
CEO and co-founder Alex Collmer says agencies are critical in bridging the gap between brands and high-quality tech, helping to boost campaigns and promote creative effectiveness. 'Strengthening our team with experienced and talented professionals, such as Robert, empowers us to continue our journey of supporting successful brands and their agencies with cutting-edge technologies that deliver exceptional results. Communicating the value of creative effectiveness is paramount to the success of our clients, and Robert's impressive career will be pivotal in supporting our business expansion'.
