British Out-Of-Home (OOH) measurement body Route has promoted General Manager Euan Mackay to the role of Chief Strategy Officer, leading the organisation's strategic direction as it readies for a new research contract starting in April next year.
Route, which was originally known as Postar, measures advertising in public spaces, allowing advertisers, outdoor media owners and media agencies to track OOH audiences across England, Scotland and Wales.
Mackay (pictured) has served as GM since December 2016, and before that worked briefly at CrowdDNA, after seven years rising from AD to Director at Kantar Media. Earlier in his career he worked for five years as a Senior Insight Executive at Associated Newspapers.
Chief Executive Denise Turner told the web site www.dailydooh.com 'As we move towards the new Route contract, our strategy for the now and next becomes even more important. Euan is a trusted, innovative, experienced leader who has already made a significant contribution to Route during a period of major audience change'.
