San Francisco-based social media, consumer and sales intelligence group Meltwater has launched a program called ExpertsWithInsights, allowing clients and others to share their expertise in a community of thought leaders, intended as 'a hub for industry insights in the PR, communications and marketing fields'.
Meltwater analyses around 1 billion pieces of online content each day to help marcoms professionals make informed decisions. Its Enterprise Intelligence Suite uses AI, natural language processing, computer vision and inference models to provide a unified view of datasets across media, user-generated content, influencer metrics, business intelligence and first-party data. The firm has 50 offices across six continents, and 2,300 employees.
The new knowledge sharing platform is part of the group's mCommunity, and offers a formal way for participants including both Meltwater customers and non-customers to share their expertise in various formats. Participants can build a following, develop relationships and expand their professional networks via options including content creation; Expert Exchange Podcasts; in-person meetups - at one of Meltwater's offices; and virtual workshops, which will be added to the Meltwater Academy training platform.
Kelly Bebenek (pictured), the firm's Senior Director of Education, comments: 'With this program, we are giving industry professionals the chance to bring their unique stories, experiences, and expertise to life. We believe that by empowering experts to share their knowledge, we can collectively drive innovation and thought leadership across industries'.
