Toluna Integrates New Quality Protocols

Insights tech and panel provider Toluna has launched QSphere, a suite of quality protocols using both human intelligence and AI across respondent recruitment and management, research and platform processes to promote high standards in data integrity and reliability.

With the introduction of QSphere, Toluna says it now rejects over 30% more survey attempts at the pre-survey stage than it did twelve months ago, saving clients time in the post-survey data cleaning phase, while boosting data quality. The new suite, which is integrated into all Toluna's systems, is part of the firm's strategy of 'AI Everywhere', and includes tech that continuously learns and adapts to improve respondent vetting processes, enhance research design and elevate user experience. Respondents are vetted via a multi-layered fraud defense system including machine learning-based device, behavior and identity checks, supported by human monitoring and data verification.

CEO Frederic-Charles Petit (pictured) says the suite 'consolidates years of stealth developments' at the company, 'reflects [its] ongoing commitment to quality across the entire business and provides the end-to-end trust in data and processes that clients crave'.
