Barb Issues Tender for New Data Hub

UK ad currency body Barb has issued an invitation to tender (ITT) for development of the Barb Data Hub, a new centralised system which will offer access to its viewing data.

The Hub is part of a new data distribution strategy, and the tender seeks a contractor partner to develop the hub and codebase. Barb says the Hub will bring it 'more ownership of both data and code', reduce duplication of databases and calculations, and reduce interdependencies in a way that allows it to become the expert buyer of the various data components of its service.

COO Caroline Baxter comments: 'This an exciting moment for Barb, as we begin the process of implementing our new data distribution strategy. This ITT will help us decide on the platform we wish to develop the Barb Data Hub on and codebase to partner with, as well as its ongoing maintenance and service delivery'.
