mPulse Buys Healthcare CX Tech Firm Zipari

September 16 2024

Healthcare experience and insights firm mPulse has acquired healthcare CX technology firm Zipari, for an undisclosed sum.

Bob FarrellZipari develops 'plug-and-play' CX software solutions exclusively for insurers, TPAs and US healthcare payers of all sizes, and offers an HXI (Health Experience and Insights) product suite which integrates predictive analytics, omnichannel engagement and health portal tech. The buy is mPulse's fourth since December 2021, all geared towards broadening its range of capabilities to putting health provider services under one roof.

The combined company now has more than 400 healthcare customers, including nineteen of the country's twenty largest health plans, and the firms say the combination unlocks the opportunity to create individual consumer-centric journeys by uniting AI-powered analytics and advanced digital engagement capabilities 'to create meaningful touchpoints throughout the consumer journey'.

mPulse CEO Bob Farrell (pictured) comments: 'Health plans continue to operate with legacy technology, fragmented data and complex point solutions that impede innovation and advancements to the health consumer experience. Together, Zipari and mPulse provide enhanced digital offerings that expand the abilities of healthcare organizations to understand and anticipate the needs of health consumers by delivering agile, personalized experiences at every step of the consumer health journey'. Zipari CEO Tabatha Erck says mPulse has 'a demonstrated track record of market leading outcomes, which reflects the power of their technology and customer focus'.
