Insights tech and panel provider Toluna has added another prong to its 'AI Everywhere' strategy with the launch of Qprobe, a feature designed to create conversational insights in quant and qual research. Initially the tool aims to enhance the depth and quality of open-ended survey responses.
The announcement follows that of SmartCloud, an AI-powered tool for the analysis of open-ended survey responses, in May; the June launch of Qsphere, a suite of quality protocols combining human intelligence and AI across respondent recruitment and management, research and platform processes, to promote high standards in data integrity and reliability; and last month's unveiling of synthetic data suite HarmonAIze.
QProbe is seamlessly integrated into the company's end-to-end, real-time consumer intelligence platform Toluna Start, and can be used across its service levels, from DIY to full service consultation. It can also combine with SmartCloud to offer users further streamlining of theme and sentiment analysis. Initially, Qprobe is available in fourteen languages across 37 countries.
Toluna says the new tool uses dual layers of AI, the first reading and interpreting the stimulus to provide context for its prompts, and the second spotting 'insufficient responses' and then prompting respondents 'in a natural way with personalized follow-up questions'.
CEO Frederic-Charles Petit (pictured) comments: 'QProbe represents a significant step forward in our commitment to delivering the highest quality insights to our clients and the highest level of engagement to our panel of respondents through the introduction of AI-driven conversational research. By leveraging AI to probe deeper into survey responses, we are reinforcing our focus on survey quality, providing clients with more insightful data than traditional open-ended responses enabling better decision-making. This is precisely the kind of innovation that defines our AI Everywhere strategy'.
Toluna has more than 40 offices across the globe, and around 2,650 employees following the acquisitions of agile MR and analytics solutions company GutCheck and research solutions provider MetrixLab.
