Fuel Cycle Unveils Fully Automated Research Solution

October 8 2024

US firm Fuel Cycle has launched an AI-based automated market research solution called Autonomous Insights, allowing businesses to conduct MR 'with minimal human intervention'.

Rick KellyThe package promises to manage every phase of the insights lifecycle 'autonomously', from identifying research objectives to delivering actionable recommendations. This is powered by an insights engine which the firm says is continuously evolving and enhancing its capabilities to provide increasingly valuable, real-time insights.

Key features include the integration of organizational strategy and historical research into research design, and analysis in a secure, privacy-first platform. Remarkably, upcoming versions of the tool will also 'self-initiate' research, proactively and autonomously detecting 'insights gaps' and 'initiating relevant studies without human prompting'. Research plans are automatically created and modified in real time as data comes in and business priorities shift; and the solution 'selects and engages with the most relevant respondents across multiple sources'.

CEO Eran Gilad comments: 'With the advent of Autonomous Insights, we're enabling every business decision to be customer-led. This technology compresses research timelines from days to minutes, optimizing the customer feedback loop. With our always-on Research Engine, clients gain 24/7 access to real-time business intelligence, delivering faster, more cost-efficient insights without compromising on quality compared to traditional methods'. Chief Strategy Officer Rick Kelly (pictured) says the solution is 'built on a technology stack that includes fine-tuned large language models, process automation, and is coupled with an exceptional user experience'. He adds: 'We've been on a mission to ensure businesses can incorporate customer feedback into every decision, and we're seeing the results now'.

Features will be phased in in stages: AI-powered qualitative reporting, executive summaries, extraction of themes and provision of actionable recommendations are available now, while the research design feature is in beta. Features including community moderation and project creation will be added 'in coming weeks'.
