Appointments at ThinksInsight

London-based consultancy Thinks Insight & Strategy has promoted Anna Norén to Senior Director, and hired Kemal Yigit Achikbash as a Research Assistant.

Research firms BritainThinks and its subsidiary WorldThinks combined under a single brand, Thinks Insight, in February 2023, integrating their expertise in political, corporate, nfp and reputation research. BritainThinks was launched in 2010 by Opinion Leader co-founders Deborah Mattinson (who left in 2021 and is no longer affiliated with the company) and Viki Cooke (now Chair), and former Opinion Leader consultant Ben Shimshon, now CEO.

Norén (pictured) worked at research agencies Breaking Blue and Intrepid between 2004 and 2011, then joined Truth Consulting where she spent eight years, latterly as a Director. She then joined Netfluential for eighteen months before moving in April 2021 to what was then BritainThinks as a Research Director. She assists clients across the planning cycle, from opportunity identification through to communications development and evaluation, applying both qual and quant methods.

Achikbash interned at BritainThinks in 2021, and returns to the MR world after graduating in Geography from UCL. He will focus on social research and its implications for wider policy change, particularly in the technology, sustainability and education sectors.
