In the UK, Blue Yonder's Sense:lab has launched a new logistics hub, giving clients a bolt-on service to increase product efficiency for research projects.
Sense:lab is a subsidiary of Blue Yonder Research, launched in February 2021 as an R&D insight and product testing facility, and promises to provide 'precision and expertise' in consumer and sensory fieldwork solutions. Last year the firm added three new rooms for qual interviews and focus groups, and opened the facility up for direct, standalone bookings by clients.
The new hub (pictured) is located in Wetherby, near Leeds, and provides end-to-end logistics support for research projects, with functions including product sourcing, secure packing, de-branding and customised labelling, to ensure efficiency and flexibility in managing products for research testing.
Sense:lab Operations Director Mark Smethurst comments: 'Our new logistics hub is designed to provide a seamless, fully integrated solution for our clients. With a strong emphasis on flexibility, security, and efficiency, we now have a dedicated central location for product logistics'.
