London-based Embeddable, which builds embedded customer-facing analytics tools, has raised EUR 6m in a seed funding round.
Embeddable's platform simplifies the creation of custom analytics dashboards and visualizations directly within applications, allowing end-users to tailor their own data visualization through a no-code interface. The company currently counts just fourteen staff, and will look to use the new money to expand this, as well as building a developer community centered on collaborative innovation, which will result in the creation and sharing of a library of templates.
The round was led by leading European VC firm OpenOcean, with participation from existing investors Four Rivers and TechStars. CEO and co-founder Tom Gardiner (pictured) comments: 'Embedding analytics is becoming as essential as adding payments or chat features, but the tools haven't kept pace with the needs of developers and end-users. Just like Stripe made payments seamless for developers, Embeddable is doing the same for customer-facing analytics. We're building a platform that empowers teams to deliver fast, interactive data experiences at scale, all while creating a community where developers can share and collaborate - saving them time to work on their core product features'.
