Daboll Joins DAIVID to Lead US Expansion

January 7 2025

Creative effectiveness platform DAIVID has appointed former Ace Metrix and comScore Media Metrix CEO Peter Daboll as its new Head of U.S.

Peter DabollLaunched just over three years ago by Ian Forrester, former Insight Head at video tracking platform Unruly, DAIVID automates ad creative testing at scale using facial coding, eye tracking and computer vision data to rapidly predict human attention levels and emotions across a range of platforms, formats and channels. In the autumn the company launched a new AI-powered self-service solution which predicts the emotions an ad will generate, the level of attention it will get, and its likely overall impact on brand and business metrics.

Daboll (pictured) brings twenty-five years' experience in ad impact research, in senior positions including Chief of Insights at Yahoo! and President and CEO of comScore Media Metrix. He recently served as Chief of Strategy and Insights for iSpot.tv after it acquired his company Ace Metrix four years ago. He spent eleven years as the CEO of Ace, developing new metrics and methods for driving impactful video creative.

In his new role he is responsible for expanding DAIVID's presence in the US market, building a team and supporting a growing list of clients there.

He reports directly to London-based CEO and founder Forrester, who comments: 'Peter is an industry pioneer who is uniquely qualified to drive DAIVID into the next exciting stage of our growth. His deep industry expertise and vision will be instrumental in shaping DAIVID's future and driving much-needed innovation across the industry. DAIVID has cracked the creative code, helping marketers measure and optimize the effectiveness of their content at a scale never seen before. Peter will help accelerate our growth and deliver exceptional value to our US clients'.
