Cobalt Sky's Rebecca Cole to Chair MRS

In the UK, the Market Research Society (MRS) has announced the election of Cobalt Sky Managing Director Rebecca Cole as Chair Designate of its main Board - she starts in the role in April.

Cole (pictured) was promoted to MD at MR software firm Cobalt Sky in 2018, having joined as a graduate in 2006. She has served as Co-Chair of ASC (the Association for Survey Computing), already sits on the MRS Board, and will replace James Endersby in the Chair.

The Society's members will be contacted in February to choose three people from nine candidates for Board vacancies. The nine are:

• Fiona Blades, President and Chief Experience Officer of MESH Experience
• Kirsty Fuller, Owner/Director of Kirsty Fuller Advisory Ltd
• Seema Hope, Research Director at The Economist
• Elizabeth Norman, CEO of specialist MR recruiter ENI
• James Sallows, President and Chief Experience Officer at LEGO
• Iosetta Santini, Account Director at Keen As Mustard Mktg Ltd
• Sabrina Trinquetel, Client Director of Measure Protocol Ltd
• Flora Vieites, a Director at Ipsos, and
• Alexander Wheatley, Head of Customer Insights and Data at The Doyle Collection.

Voting will be open from Monday 3rd February until 12pm on Friday 28th February, with successful candidates announced shortly after the close.
