Kantar has appointed former dentsu Switzerland and Merkle DACH CEO Patrik Gamryd to serve as Managing Director of its Swedish business, from next month.

Gamryd was CEO of Aegis subsidiary Iprospect in Sweden for six years starting in 2007, and has stayed with the group until now (dentsu acquired Aegis in 2013). He moved to COO and then CEO of Aegis Media Sweden, also serving as Chairman of the Board of a number of Aegis subsidiaries. He worked on the restructuring of InkClub as CEO in 2018-2019, then in late 2019 became CEO for dentsu Switzerland, also serving as CEO of its Isobar subsidiary in Switzerland. A year later he led the merger of Isobar Switzerland and Namics AG to form Merkle DACH, and became CEO of the latter, growing it to some 1,800 CX professionals in six countries.
