Comscore Hires Head of Measurement

Comscore has appointed ad and media industry veteran Frank Friedman as its Chief Data and Analytics Officer and Head of Measurement.

Frank FriedmanHe joins from broadcaster and publisher The E.W. Scripps Company where he worked for more than six years, most recently as SVP Data-Research-Analytics, helping to combine local and national measurement teams and data, and negotiating the firm's first agreement with Comscore. Earlier in his career he worked at ad agency groups, Optimedia, Zenith and Publicis, and he started out in 1985 as a Senior Planner / Buyer at Wieden + Kennedy.

Friedman (pictured) has held board and committee positions with industry bodies including the MRC, the Coalition for Innovative Media Measurement (CIMM) and the Video Advertising Bureau (VAB). In his new role he will oversee Comscore's data governance, drive currency adoption efforts, and develop tailored measurement playbooks for customers.
