US-based communications data and intelligence firm Smarsh has acquired CallCabinet, which offers cloud-based call recording and analysis, for both compliance and business intelligence purposes.Smarsh's technology allows companies to capture, archive and monitor data from business communications, and identify regulatory and reputational risks before they become 'fines or headlines'. The firm's AI-powered applications Capture, Archive, Conduct and Discovery also promise clients the ability to 'unleash the intelligence in their digital communications'. Clients are mostly in banking, brokerage, insurance and investment advice sectors, in North America, Europe and Asia.
CallCabinet's compliant call recording is used in a wider variety of sectors, from healthcare and retail to automotive, aviation and manufacturing. In addition to an established network of big tech partners including Zoom, Cisco and Microsoft, the buy brings Smarsh solutions for real-time business intelligence, including advanced conversation analytics and custom reporting, and quality assurance automation tools. CallCabinet is headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida, with offices in Australia, Germany, South Africa and the UK.
