Data Quality Platform dtect Hires CTO

February 21 2025

Data quality platform dtect, which is part of Ontario, Canada-based Quest Global Research Group, has appointed former DISQO VP Engineering Rudy Nash as CTO.

Rudy NashQuest employs more than 200 people globally, and includes dtect's sister companies, online data collection company Quest Mindshare, panel management company SampleGurus, online panels Opinion Champ and Panel Champ, and veteran US media research company Coleman Insights, which it acquired in October. dtect offers clients up-front protection against survey fraud, spotting AI-generated responses with tailored screening questions, bots and scripts using third-party tech, and location spoofing using location validation technology. It also highlights problematic human participants, and tracks the performance of sample suppliers on all these issues in real time.

Nash (pictured) joins from DISQO where he spent almost three years as a Senior Director and latterly VP of Engineering, and before this was Head of Engineering at Feedback Loop. Earlier he worked in software roles outside the MR sector, including four years at NC-based telecoms company American Tower.

dtect said on LinkedIn that Nash has a strong track record of building scalable tech in the MRX space and will play a pivotal role in shaping the firm's strategy to keep it ahead of the curve.
