RAIT Changes CEO, Looks to Nordic Countries for Growth

Baltic States-based full service MR firm RAIT Group has announced the appointment of Stine Halberg, until now CEO of its subsidiary Wilke, as its new group CEO. Former RAIT CEO Dovile Koncak will remain part-time as a Board member.

RAIT acquired many of GfK's custom research operations in the region in 2017, and added a majority stake in CX research technology firm Synopticom in 2022. A month later it joined mystery shopping specialist Dive and panel operator Intra in forming a new holding company called STATCO.

RAIT bought 70% of Danish research firm Wilke in 2023, a year after Halberg (pictured above) became Wilke's CEO. She brings more than fifteen years' senior management experience to the new role, in both market research and media firms; and holds a number of board positions and one board Chair position in Denmark. Her new RAIT role took effect on March 1st.

Koncak (pictured below) says she will 'pursue a role as an active board member in various organizations'.

'In the coming years we expect to grow mainly in the Sweden, Norway and Finland - so Stine's Nordic regional management experience will be very useful. We now employ more than 100 data and insights specialists and expect to double that in the next 3-4 years - both via organic growth and acquisitions'.
