Rapid Growth, Four Hires for TRA in Sydney

Antipodean research agency TRA has announced four new hires in its Sydney team, as it approaches three years in the Australian market: former Kantar man David Busfield as Business Director; and former Fiftyfive5 employees Melouise Hucker, Tia Agnew and Alex Mansfield.

Headquartered in Auckland, New Zealand, TRA offers a range of services including research, strategy, behavioural science, cultural analysis, data and analytics, design and new venture development.

The company says the Sydney team has doubled both revenue and head count year on year. Busfield will be responsible for a number of partnerships across the FMCG, tech and financial services sectors, and will lead the team's quant practice. At Kantar he was Group Director, leading one of Sydney's client service teams and some of its largest client relationships.

The other three new arrivals come from Fifityfive5, which has been part of Accenture Song since the end of 2022. Hucker and Agnew join as Senior Consultants, while Mansfield takes the role of Cultural / Qualitative consultant.

All four appointments are effective immediately and report directly to Managing Partner, Terri Hall, who comments: 'Our mission is to use our understanding of human behaviour to identify growth opportunities for our clients.
