C Space Promotes Carter for EMEA MD Role

March 27 2025

Insight group and communities pioneer C Space has appointed Zoë Carter as Managing Director for the EMEA region, leading the expansion of its business units outside the US. She joined the company nine years ago as an Associate Consultant.

Zoë CarterOriginally known as Communispace, C Space is now part of Escalent, alongside full service brand and comms research specialist Hall & Partners - both firms were acquired in 2023. The group is headquartered in Livonia, MI and boasts 1,600 employees in locations across the US and ten other countries on five continents.

Carter's promotion follows the departure of Kathryn Blanshard, who has decided 'to pursue a new opportunity' after fifteen years at C Space. The firm said Blanshard had been 'an integral part of the business', and thanked her for her 'invaluable contributions and leadership over the years'. Claire Kennard takes Carter's former role as Head of Client Service, while Vicky Shekleton and Grace Power are promoted to Business Director roles, and Andy Fitzgibbons takes the new position of Director of Solutions.

Escalent CEO Melissa Sauter comments: 'Zoe is the ideal leader to steer C Space EMEA through this exciting and transformative time for our industry. Her deep expertise in insight communities, proven success across brands and agencies and strong client relationships make her uniquely positioned to drive the business forward. With her leadership, deep tenure at C Space and the strength of our growing team, we're excited for a future of continued innovation and growth'.

The group is on the web at www.escalent.co .
