Chris Smith Leaves Kudos for MD Role at Perspective

Data collection and analysis firm Perspective Research Services, which is part of the BVA BDRC Group, has appointed Kudos Research veteran Chris Smith as Managing Director.

Smith has been MD at Kudos for almost nineteen years, is a Fellow of the Market Research Society and Vice Chairman of the UK's Interviewer Quality Control Scheme. Earlier in his career he worked at Audience Selection / AGB, TNS, IntelliQuest, Millward Brown and Harris Interactive. Matt Costin, BVA BDRC Group Chief Executive, comments: 'We are excited to welcome Chris to Perspective. He brings a wealth of management experience in market research fieldwork businesses and a particularly strong specialism in B2B and international audiences, which is perfectly aligned with Perspective's positioning in the market as a high-end, value-added data collection capability.'

Meanwhile the company has also announced the promotions of Tosin Igbon, Kofi Owusu and Darren Fisher to Director, alongside Ijeoma Olorunfunmi who becomes Commercial Director.

Perspective parent firm BVA BDRC is itself part of The BVA Family, which is set to be acquired by Ipsos after an announcement a fortnight ago.
