In India, 'quick commerce' delivery platform Zepto has launched 'Atom', a subscription service providing performance analytics for brands listed on its platform. The tool promises to help them improve their distribution, pricing and marketing strategies.Zepto was founded in 2021 by two Stanford dropouts, Aadit Palicha and Kaivalya Vohra, and is one of India's largest rapid delivery companies alongside the likes of Blinkit and Swiggy Instamart. Atom launched on Friday and the founders say they expect to onboard 1,000 brands for it within weeks.
The new service offers real-time performance analysis, updated each minute, with a detailed geographical breakdown - to Pin code and neighbourhood level. CEO Palicha (pictured) says the firm generates more than ten million data points daily, offering substantial potential for monetization. The tool - which reportedly took only three weeks to go from idea to execution - also includes ZeptoGPT, which allows users to analyse the data using natural language queries.
