Ipsos has promoted Alexandre Guerin to MD - Performance; Laurent Depouilly to succeed him as Country Manager of Ipsos bva in France; and Marion-Anne Cattaneo to Country Manager for Switzerland. The group also says it will now treat its home territory of France, hitherto separate, as part of its EMEA region.
The appointments are intended to push forward the Horizons strategic plan, and accelerate transformation across the group, with 'a strong focus on speed, innovation and AI.'
Guerin (pictured) will join the Executive Management Committee and report directly to CEO Jean Laurent Poitou, leading efforts to deliver on the Horizons objective of speed, ensuring most studies are completed in under 48 hours, and helping Ipsos to 'reinvent ways of working both internally and with clients.' He has served as Country Manager in France for the past five years, including overseeing the integration of BVA in 2025. Earlier he held senior roles in the USA, including Chief Client Officer, and was CFO of Operations.
Depouilly joined the company in 2010, and held a number of management roles in France before moving to Switzerland as Country Manager, In his new role he reports to Shane Farrell, CEO EMEA, and the group will move its operations in its home country of France into the EMEA region, having previously held them separately. Depouilly will focus on strengthening Ipsos bva's positioning and commercial growth.
Cattaneo joined Ipsos in 2015 and has also worked across France and Switzerland. She currently leads key business units, including Innovation and Market Strategy & Understanding. In her new role, she also reports to Farrell, and will be responsible for driving activities in the Swiss market, focusing on continuous support for international clients while diversifying the local pipeline through Swiss-based accounts.
