Believe it or not, Toluna, like DRNO, is 25 years old this Spring. Frédéric Charles Petit has been at the helm all that time, as it's grown to a company of 2,500+ people, acquired the likes of Harris Interactive, GutCheck and MetrixLab, and evolved from a regional panel company into a global, end-to-end research platform and provider. At the end of March it announced the legacy brands were being united under the one Toluna banner, and... in short, it was about time we talked to him. In this 35-minute interview with MrWeb's Nick Thomas, Frédéric talks about the buys and the brands, the accelerating introduction and adoption of new technology in the industry (although he ducks Nick's question about the singularity), Toluna's early adoption of AI and how it permeates the company's operations and offerings - and more general plans and expectations for the future.
